Sources of Energy that Drive the Earth System:
- Energy from the Sun
- Energy from the Earth's Interior
- A third source is "Planetary Energy" which is produced by gravitational attraction between the Earth, moon, Sun, and larger planets. This force creates tidal energy on earth which is the least important of the three sources.
